Trigonox® 82 is an MEKP formulation designed to cure unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature and high temperatures in the presence of a cobalt accelerator. It is suitable for curing very thick laminates.
Applications
Trigonox® 82 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide formulation designed to cure unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature and high temperatures in the presence of a cobalt accelerator. Compared to Butanox M 50, Trigonox® 82 offers a longer gel time, a slower cure rate, and lower peak exothermic heat release. Trigonox® 82 is ideal for the production and curing of thick laminates (≤ 20 mm) in a single operation, as well as for applications where high peak exothermic heat release must be avoided.
