Trigonox® 29-CH90 is an initiator for the (co)polymerization of ethylene, styrene, acrylonitrile, (methyl)acrylates, and dipropylene glycol bis(allyl carbonate) optical monomers. Trigonox® 29-CH90 is an initiator used for the curing of unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins at high temperatures.
Applications
Trigonox® 29-CH90 is used for the crosslinking of natural and synthetic rubbers as well as thermoplastic polyolefins. Rubber compounds containing Trigonox® 29-CH90 exhibit excellent scorch resistance. Trigonox® 29-CH90 is a highly efficient medium-strength initiator (90% active ingredient in an odorless mineral oil base) used for curing unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins at high temperatures. Typical applications include prepregs, premixes, BMC, TMC, SMC, and pultrusion.
