Trigonox® 279 is a fast peroxide blend for curing unsaturated polyester resins at elevated temperatures in combination with cobalt accelerators.

Trigonox® 279 is a peroxide formulation based on acetylacetone peroxide and tert.Butylperoxybenzoate. Trigonox® 279 has been specially developed for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at elevated temperatures in combination with cobalt accelerators (e.g. accelerator NL-49 PN = 1% cobalt). Areas of application for the curing system Trigonox® 279 with cobalt accelerator can be e.g. continuous lamination, resin transfer molding, fiber winding and centrifugal casting.
