Trigonox® 178 is a MEKP/CHP blend with exothermic inhibition for curing promoted unsaturated polyester resins.

Trigonox® 178 is a convenient premixed initiator for curing unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester and acrylic thermoset resins with metal salts under ambient conditions. Trigonox® 178 produces less exothermic heat than standard MEKP and is suitable for both warm and hot weather climates. Applications include cast polymers and laminates.
