Trigonox® 178 is an MEKP/CHP blend designed to suppress exothermic reactions and promote the curing of unsaturated polyester resins.
Applications
Trigonox® 178 is a convenient premixed initiator suitable for curing unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, and acrylic thermosetting resins with metal salts under ambient conditions. Trigonox® 178 generates less exothermic heat than standard MEKP, making it suitable for use in warm and hot climates. Applications include cast polymers and laminates.
