Trigonox® 178 Red is a slower reacting MEKP/CHP blend for curing promoted unsaturated polyester substrates at room temperature for the suppression of exotherms in thick or hot parts.

Trigonox® 178 Red is a convenient premixed initiator for curing unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester and acrylic thermoset resins with metal salts under ambient conditions. Trigonox® 178 Red produces less exotherm than standard MEKPs and is suitable for both warm and hot climates. Applications include cast polymers and laminates.
