  • Trigonox 17-40B-PD-AM is a difunctional peroxide used for the following applications:
    • Cross-linked natural rubber
    • Cross-linked synthetic rubber
    • Cross-linked polyolefin
  • Safe processing temperature: 125°C
  • Typical crosslinking temperature: 160°C

thermal stability::

  • Organic peroxides are thermally unstable substances and may undergo self-accelerating decomposition.
  • Self-accelerated decomposition temperature (SADT): 60°C

save::

  • Due to the relative instability of organic peroxides, quality loss may occur over time.
  • To minimize mass loss, a maximum storage temperature of 30°C is recommended.
  • Under recommended storage conditions, Trigonox 17-40B-PD-AM remains within specification for at least 6 months after delivery.
