Perkadox® L-40 RPS is a special low-viscosity, pumpable and sprayable peroxide formulation containing 40% BPO that disperses and dissolves very rapidly in pure unsaturated polyester and acrylic resins.
Applications
Perkadox® L-40 RPS is a pumpable, sprayable, and easily dispersible dibenzoyl peroxide used for curing unsaturated polyester resins at ambient and elevated temperatures. At curing temperatures up to 80°C, Perkadox® L-40 RPS should be used in combination with an aromatic tertiary amine accelerator; at temperatures above 80°C, no accelerator is required. Perkadox® L-40 RPS can be pumped through internal and external mixing FRP spraying equipment and poured or metered by volume; it is easier to use and handle than traditional dibenzoyl peroxide pastes or dispersions. The low water content of Perkadox® L-40 RPS allows it to be used in all FRP applications.
