Perkadox L-40 RPB Diphenylperoxide CAS Numbers: 94-36-0, 78-40-0 Physical Form: Suspension Perkadox® L-40 RPB is a special low-viscosity, pumpable, and sprayable peroxide formulation containing 40% BPO that disperses and dissolves rapidly in unsaturated polyester and acrylic resins. It contains no polar components, and its viscosity is optimized for optimal use in relevant spray application segments, such as acrylic road markings.Applications: Perkadox® L-40 RPB is a pumpable, sprayable, and easily dispersible dibenzoyl peroxide used to cure unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, acrylic, and acrylic-modified resins at ambient and elevated temperatures. At curing temperatures up to 80°C, Perkadox® L-40 RPB should be used in combination with an aromatic tertiary amine accelerator added separately to the resin; at temperatures above 80°C, no accelerator is required. Perkadox® L-40 RPB can be pumped through internal and external mixing FRP spraying equipment and poured or metered by volume; it is easier to use and handle than traditional dibenzoyl peroxide pastes or dispersions.
