Scope of Application
Suitable for composite products requiring environmentally friendly, halogen-free, low-smoke, and flame-retardant properties. 4.3 mm GFRP meets the flame-retardant requirements of DIN 5510-2 S3 SR2 ST2.
Product Characteristics
- Low mixed viscosity, suitable for vacuum processes.
- In DIN 5510 testing of 3 mm-thick composite panels, the combustion rating is S3, the smoke density rating is SR2
(Int. = 1 %×min; requirement: Int. ≤ 50 %×min), and the melting droplet rating is ST2. - In DIN 5510 testing, the composite material achieved a smoke toxicity rating of FED = 0.33 (requirement: FED ≤ 1).
- It exhibits good wetting properties for both glass fiber and carbon fiber.
