Glass fiber biaxial warp-knitted fabrics are produced by warp-knitting glass fiber direct yarns arranged in parallel at 0° and 90° angles; they can be laminated with a chopped strand mat layer or a nonwoven layer (polyester fiber mat) to form composite mats. This product is compatible with unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl ester resins, and epoxy resins. It is widely used in yacht manufacturing, wind energy equipment, the automotive industry, sports equipment, and flat panel composites, and is suitable for molding processes such as vacuum infusion, hand lay-up, pultrusion, and RTM.
