Butanox® M-50A is a phthalate-free, moderately reactive, low water content, general purpose MEKP for curing unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature.

Butanox® M-50A is a multi-purpose catalyst for promoting room temperature curing of unsaturated polyester resins. Unpromoted unsaturated polyester resins can be heat cured with Butanox® M-50a in the 100-127°C temperature range. Butanox® M-50A also has a high MEKP monomer content to provide faster gel times in some resin systems.
