Butanox® M-50A is a phthalate-free, moderately reactive, low-moisture-content general-purpose MEKP used for the room-temperature curing of unsaturated polyester resins.
Applications
Butanox® M-50A is a versatile catalyst used to promote the room-temperature curing of unsaturated polyester resins. Unpromoted unsaturated polyester resins can be thermally cured using Butanox® M-50A within a temperature range of 100–127°C. Butanox® M-50A also has a high MEKP monomer content, which provides faster gel times in certain resin systems.
