Butanox® M-50 VRN is a highly reactive, general-purpose MEKP with low moisture content that includes a disappearing red indicator system.
Applications
Butanox® M-50 VRN is a general-purpose methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) used to cure unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature and elevated temperatures in the presence of cobalt accelerators. Butanox® M-50 VRN offers all the benefits of standard MEKP, namely Butanox® M-50. Butanox® M-50 VRN incorporates a disappearing red indicator system that virtually vanishes during the curing process. The red color appears during the mixing step when needed but disappears as curing proceeds.
