Armostat® 400 is a vegetable-based saturated alkyl bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amine with high purity and low color. Armostat® 400 is an internal antistatic additive that can be used in a variety of polymers such as PE, LDPE, PP, SAN, ABS and HIPS. Armostat® 400 has a sustained antistatic effect and is particularly effective in film applications due to its relatively fast migration due to its relatively short alkyl chain. Armostat® 400 is a liquid at ambient temperature and can be added directly to polymers using single or twin screw extruders.
