Applications
Armostat® 400 is a plant-based saturated alkyl bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amine characterized by high purity and low color. Armostat® 400 is an internal antistatic additive suitable for use in various polymers, such as PE, LDPE, PP, SAN, ABS, and HIPS. Armostat® 400 provides sustained antistatic performance and, due to its relatively short alkyl chains, migrates relatively quickly, making it particularly effective in film applications. Armostat® 400 is liquid at ambient temperature and can be added directly to polymers using single-screw or twin-screw extruders.
